ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Rose-Hulman men's track & field team traveled a group of individuals to the WashU Distance Carnival this week. The Fightin' Engineers had competitors compete on Thursday and Friday.
The team was led by
Joshua Pohle in the 10k run, recording the fifth fastest time in school history in the event with a 62nd-place finish and a time of 32:02.06.
Carter Lindfelt led the team in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a 10th-place finish and a time of 9:35.59. His time also ranked fifth in the school record book for that event.
Other competitors for Rose-Hulman in the 10k included
Chris Lynn (94th, 33:09.40),
Eric Steuber (119th, 34:13.97), and
Daniel Gaull (128th, 35:55.87).
The Rose-Hulman men's track & field team will return to action, traveling to Indiana State to compete in the Pacesetter Sports Invitational on Saturday, March 29, at 12 PM.
