SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The Fightin' Engineers men's golf team claimed a sixth-place team finish at the Port City Classic hosted by Berry College this week.
Ryan Beerheide led the way for Rose-Hulman finishing in a tie for fifth place individually shooting rounds of 75 (+4), 77 (+6), and 70 (-1) to total a score of 222 (+9) in the tournament.
Austin Frick also finished tied for fifth with round scores of 77 (+6), 74 (+3), 71 (E) for a final score of 222 (+9).
Owen King rounded out the top-three finishers for Rose-Hulman finishing tied for 36th with a final score of 232 (+19) after shooting rounds of 75 (+4), 78 (+7), 79 (+8).
The Fightin' Engineers will return home to host the Great Lakes Invitational at the Country Club of Terre Haute on Saturday, March 22 and 23.
