GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's track & field team traveled to compete in the Indiana DIII Championships hosted by DePauw University on Saturday. The team placed third overall with a team score of 120.
The Fightin' Engineers claimed eight top-three finishes and three event wins in the meet.
Carter Lindfelt earned an event win in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:30.64, which ranks fourth in the Rose-Hulman school record books.
Andrew Shields was another standout, earning an event win in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.75.
Antoine Cooper was the final event winner for Rose-Hulman, placing first in the discus with a mark of 46.61 meters.
The men's track & field team will look ahead, hosting the Twilight Invitational on Friday, April 18 at 4:30 PM.
