TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers earned a second-place finish at the Twilight Invitational on Friday night with a team score of 113.5.
The team finished the meet with seven top-three finishes and three event wins.Â
James Kaunas was the standout for the Fightin' Engineers, earning two event wins in the long jump (6.82 meters) and the triple jump (13.55 meters).Â
Antoine Cooper led the team in the throwing events with a win in the discus (48.64) and a third-place finish in the shot put (14.44 meters).
The men's track & field team will return to competition in the Gibson Family Invitational on Saturday, April 19, at 11:30 AM.Â
