RICHMOND, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's golf team earned their second consecutive HCAC title in the HCAC Championships this weekend. This is the team's third HCAC Championship in the last 27 years, and the ninth HCAC title in program history.
The Fightin' Engineers won the tournament by 34 strokes with a team score of 886, standing ahead of the second-place finishing Transylvania Pioneers.
Owen King led the team, being named the individual champion in the tournament with a first-place finish after shooting rounds of 72, 74, 72 for a total score of 218 (+8).
Austin Frick placed second overall shooting rounds of 72, 75, 73 for a total score of 220 (+10).
Alex Bilodeau rounded out the top-three finishers, with a fourth-place individual finish after shooting 79, 73, 74 for a total score of 226 (+16).
King, Frick, and Bilodeau all earned All-Tournament team after claiming top-5 finishes. Head Coach

With the win, Rose-Hulman earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships in Penfield, New York, from Tuesday, May 20, to Friday, May 23.
