PENFIELD, NY. -- The Rose-Hulman men's golf team ended their NCAA Championship run after missing the cut in the second round of the tournament with a 30th-place team finish.
The team ended the second round with a score of 627 (+51), which was 16 strokes off the final qualifying team.Â
Owen King was the top finisher for the Fightin' Engineers, finishing tied for 63rd place after shooting rounds of 74 and 79 for a total score of 153 (+9).Â
Austin Frick placed tied for 97th individually with round scores of 76 and 79 for a final score of 155 (+11).
Ryan Beerheide rounded out the top-three finishers for the Fightin' Engineers with round scores of 79 and 78 for a tally of 157 (+13).
This wraps up the 2024-25 season for the Fightin' Engineers. This is the team's second straight season qualifying for the NCAA Championships and winning the HCAC title. The team ended the year with four top-three team finishes in tournaments this season.
