GENEVA, Ohio -- Rose-Hulman standout
Antoine Cooper traveled to compete in the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships this Thursday.
Cooper finished the day with a 21st-place finish in the Discus. The junior mechanical engineering major earned a mark of 39.85 meters (130' 9").
He missed out on receiving All-American status, trailing the 16th-place finisher by 5.24 meters.
This is Cooper's first NCAA appearance in his collegiate career. He earned his way to the national meet after recording a mark of 51.61 in the discus at the Sycamore Open, ranking second in the Rose-Hulman school record book.
