BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's cross country team started the 2025 season with a second-place finish at the Sam Bell Invitational hosted by Indiana University on Friday morning. The team finished with a team score of 40.
The top five runners for the Fightin' Engineers ran as a pack in the 6k race. The team was led by
Chris Lynn, finishing 15th individually with a time of 19:18.46. Following him were
Joshua Pohle (19:18.49) and
John Gries (19:18.55).
Rounding out the top five runners for Rose-Hulman were
Rhys Phelps (19:20.39) and
Sam Rinker (19:24.16).
The Fightin' Engineers will return home to compete in the John McNichols Invitational hosted by Indiana State at the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course on Saturday, September 20, at 9 AM.
