Rose-Hulman Returns to LaVern Gibson Championship Course

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Rose-Hulman will return to the LaVern Gibson Championship Course for the Nike XC Town Twilight. The competition will be held on Friday, October 3rd, with the men's 8K starting at 9 PM and the women's 6K beginning at 9:45 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY NOTES:
* The men's team had competed in two meets this year.
* The team placed second overall in the season opener at the Sam Bell Invite.
* The Fightin' Engineers are coming off a sixth-place finish at the John McNichols Invitational.
* Rose-Hulman's top seven runners will be competing at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem Pa. on October 3rd at 12:15 PM.
* Freshman Elliot Bruhl recorded a 71st-place finish in Rose's last meet, with a time of 27:24.97.
* Sophomore Cole Breuer finished 73rd with a time of 27:31.91.
* Freshman Xaiden Jenson came in 74th place, crossing the finish line in 27:33.97.
* Junior Morgan Stratton placed 78th overall with a time of 27:36.18.
* Freshman Chase Delaney recorded an 80th-place finish, completing the race in 27:41.45.

ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY NOTES:
* The women's squad has competed in two meets this season.
* They opened the year with a fourth-place finish at the Sam Bell Invite.
* Rose-Hulman is coming off an 8th-place finish at the John McNichols Invitational.
* Junior Jocelyn Onstot led the way for Rose-Hulman in their last meet, coming in 39th place with a time of 23:51.65.
* Junior Brianna Bittel placed 62nd overall with a time of 25:06.63.
* Senior Rebecca Testa recorded a 65th-place finish with a time of 25:25.67
* Senior Jada Hunter-Hays crossed the finish line in 26:25.15 to secure 76th place.
* Sophomore Summer Kite rounded out Rose-Hulman's top five with an 80th-place finish in 26:46.87.
