TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's cross country team competed in the John McNichols Invitational this weekend, hosted by Indiana State. The Fightin' Engineers earned a sixth-place finish with a team score of 148.
Joshua Pohle was the top finisher for Rose-Hulman, completing the 8k race in 25:47.09.
Rhys Phelps followed with a 27th-place finish and a time of 26:03.72.
Eduardo del Rosal rounded out the top-three finishers with a 34th-place finish and a time of 26:15.15.
The men's cross country team will return to action, with the team splitting up to attend two meets on Friday, October 3. Selected individuals will travel to Paul Short Run to compete at 12:15 PM, and the other athletes will return to LaVern Gibson to compete in the Nike XC Town Twilight Meet at 9 PM.Â
