TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Senior defender
Aidan Kriek has been named the HCAC Defensive Player of the Week, making him the second Rose-Hulman player to win the award this season.
The Fightin' Engineers are coming off a 2-0 record to kick off September, where they defeated Wabash 2-1 and Principia 3-0.
Kriek appeared in all 90 minutes in both of Rose-Hulman's victories, where he led a defensive line that allowed just one goal.
The RHIT defense also gave up only three shots on target against Wabash and improved to just one shot on goal allowed against Principia.
The New Orleans, La. native will look to lead Rose-Hulman to their third shutout of the season, as they take on DePauw on Tuesday, September 9 at 7 PM in Terre Haute, Ind.
