Volleyball Hosts Webster for Wednesday Night Action

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Fightin' Engineers volleyball team will welcome Webster University to campus on Wednesday, September 10, for a mid-week match-up with the Gorloks starting at 7 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands undefeated at 6-0 overall this season after sweeping the competition at the Lady Blues Challenge and the Rose-Hulman Invitational.
* This is the first time since the 2010 season that the Fightin' Engineers have started the year at 6-0. 
Greta CarlsonKeira Ohse, and Lily Ebright all earned All-Tournament recognition at the Lady Blues Challenge and the Rose-Hulman Invite.
* The Fightin' Engineers have been picked to finish sixth in the 2025 HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 40 points. 
* The team finished last season with a record of 11-17 overall and 4-5 in the HCAC. 
* Rose-Hulman barely missed out on the HCAC Tournament, finishing seventh in the league standings. 
* The team returns three HCAC All-Conference players, including Lily EbrightAmaya Harrell, and Keira Ohse.
* Ebright is the team's top returner after earning Defensive Player of the Year for the third consecutive season last year. 
* Ebright led the team with 782 digs and 7.31 digs per set, which led the conference and the entire NCAA across all divisions. 
Emma Blanton and Greta Carlson have also been named players to watch by the HCAC this upcoming year.
* The team is led by Rachel Delsi, entering her eighth year at the helm of the program. 
* After hosting Webster, Rose-Hulman will hit the road to compete in the Earlham Invitational on Saturday, September 13, facing Kenyon at 11 AM and Denison at 3 PM. 

WEBSTER NOTES:
* Webster enters the match against Rose-Hulman with a record of 2-5 overall this season. 
* The team comes off a loss to Rhodes College with a final score of 3-0.
* Delaney Fullenkamp leads the team with 48 kills this year. 
* Megan Zablonski is another standout with 45 kills and a team-high 2.50 kills per set. 
* The Gorloks are led by Jaycee Lewis on defense with 65 digs, totaling 2.50 digs per set this season. 
* After traveling to take on Rose-Hulman, Webster will travel to face Simpson College on Friday, September 19, at 5 PM. 

WEBSTER SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 10-5 overall against Webster.
* Webster earned a win in the last meeting between both teams in a close match with a final score of 3-2 during the 2024 season.
* Before that, Rose-Hulman had won the last six matches against the Gorloks, dating back to the 2017 season. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have an all-time home record of 5-1 when hosting Webster.
