LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Rose-Hulman men's track & field team sent a select few individuals to compete in the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational. The team traveled four distance athletes to compete in the 3,000-meter run.
Sam Rinker led the team with a record-breaking performance, breaking the school record in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:31.26.Â
Joshua Pohle was another standout with a time of 8:42.07 in the 3k race, which is good enough to land him in fifth place in the record book in the event.Â
Other top finishers included
Eduardo del Rosal with a time of 9:01.67 and
Chase Collins with a time of 9:05.58.Â
The rest of the Rose-Hulman men's track & field team will compete tomorrow at home in the Rose-Hulman Classic at 3 PM.Â
