Rose-Hulman's Trio Achieves All-HCAC First Team Honors

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Rose-Hulman's trio of Ryan Beerheide, Owen King, and Austin Frick has been named to the All-HCAC First Team.
 
Senior Ryan Beerheide claimed All-HCAC First Team honors for the third consecutive season. Beerheide capped off his illustrious career by winning the HCAC Individual Championship with a score of 208 (-8). He finished four strokes better than the second-place finisher and eight strokes better than the third-place finisher. During the final round of the HCAC Championship, Beerheide set a school record with a round score of 65 (-7) as he claimed the HCAC title. He hit three under par or better in four rounds this season, adding the third-best round score in school history of 67 (-4) at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate. Beerheide recorded a first-place finish at the Music City Shootout, and he added a third-place finish at the Camp LeJeune Invitational. He recorded a 74.46 round score across 26 rounds of golf, which ranks as the fifth-best in program history. Across his career, Beerheide has posted a 76.49 scoring average which also ranks as the fifth-highest in Rose-Hulman history.
 
Senior Owen King concludes his distinguished career with his fourth career All-HCAC First Team selection. King led off the season with a second-place finish at the Transylvania Invitational, and he added eighth-place finishes at the HCAC Fall Preview, the Music City Shootout, and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate. King posted a 75.73 scoring average across 26 rounds of golf, and his career scoring average of 76.10 ranks fourth in program history. He is the only Rose-Hulman men's golfer to claim multiple HCAC Individual Championships, winning the title in both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.
 
Junior Austin Frick was named to the All-HCAC First Team for the third consecutive year. He appeared in four tournaments this season due to injury, where he competed in 11 rounds of golf. He recorded a first-place finish at the HCAC Fall Preview and a third-place finish at the Rhodes Fall Invitational. Frick set a school record with a season-scoring average of 72.18, breaking his own school record from his freshman season at 73.98. He has recorded a career scoring average of 73.67, which ranks as the best career score in Rose-Hulman history.
