TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers men's cross country team has been selected second in the Great Lakes Regional Rankings. This ranks as Rose-Hulman's highest preseason ranking in school history, surpassing their previous best rank of third overall in 2015.

Additionally, Rose-Hulman received placements on multiple national rankings. The Fightin' Engineers have been ranked 26th in the D3 Glory Days National Preseason Cross Country Rankings and 27th in the USTFCCCA National Coaches Preseason Poll.

Rose-Hulman is the lone HCAC team to rank in the top ten in the Great Lakes Regional Rankings. The team has been unanimously picked to win their third straight HCAC Championship, and they will look to return to the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row.

RHIT will be led by their sensational senior class of Chris Lynn, Eduardo del Rosal, Will Boschen, Rhys Phelps, Wyatt Starkie, and John Gries, as well as reigning HCAC Newcomer of the Year, sophomore Ben Tuckis. All five athletes achieved top 12 finishes during last year's HCAC Championships as Rose-Hulman won the title in dominant fashion.

The Fightin' Engineers will begin the 2026 season at the Franklin Grizzly Invitational on Saturday, September 5 at 10 AM. They will compete in their first home meet at the John McNichols Invitational on Saturday, September 19 at 9:05 AM.
