TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers will compete in their first home meet of the season at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course. The John McNichols Invitational will begin on Saturday, September 19 at 9:05 AM.
 
ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY NOTES:
* This will be Rose-Hulman's first 8K race of the season.
* The Fightin' Engineers are coming off a first-place finish in the 5K at the Franklin Grizzly Invitational.
* The team recorded just 34 points, while second place finishes University of Illinois Club recorded 70 points.
* Rose-Hulman boasted four top-ten finishers at Franklin.
* Senior Rhys Phelps recorded Rose-Hulman's best time of 15:52.1 to finish in second place.
* For his efforts, Phelps was named the HCAC Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career.
* Senior Chris Lynn finished a second shy of Phelps to claim third place with a time of 15:53.2.
* Freshman Grayson Rorick got off to a hot start in his collegiate debut, placing fifth with a time of 15:59.7.
* Senior John Gries rounded out Rose-Hulman's top ten finishers, placing tenth with a time of 16:17.0.
