Women's Golf Heads to Illinois Wesleyan Invitational This Weekend

TERRE HAUTE. Ind. - Rose-Hulman will compete in their second Fall meet of the 2026-27 season at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic. The Fightin' Engineers will play 18 holes on Saturday, September 19th, and finish out the Classic with 18 holes on Sunday, September 20th.

ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S GOLF NOTES:

* Rose-Hulman opened the season at the Transylvania Invitational.
* The Fightin' Engineers placed second overall with a team score of 188 (+44).
* Lauren Slatton placed first individually in her Rose-Hulman debut with a score of 140 (-4), recording 5 birdies on day one of the Invitational.
* Slatton broke the single-round record, recording a score of 67 (-5).
* Slatton also broke the 36-hole meet record, recording a 140 (-4) overall score.
* Elizabeth Ma recorded a sixth-place finish with a 152 (+8) score.
* Zora Matthews finished tied for 14th, with a score of 158 (+14).
* Aslyn Haywood closed out the Rose-Hulman point scorers with a tie for 42nd, and a 170 (+26) score.
* Julia Meyer and Tatum Tanchuck both finished tied for 55th, posting a 184 (+40).
* Anna Marrero rounded out the Fightin' Engineers in 57th place with a 186 (+42).
* After competing at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic, Rose-Hulman women's golf will continue their season at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational on Sunday, September 27th, and Monday, September 28th.
