BEREA, Ky. -- The Rose-Hulman women's soccer team earned a draw against Berea College on the road Saturday with a final score of 0-0. This moves the team to 5-1-1 overall this season.
The Fightin' Engineers were led by
Riley Heasley and
Ally Smith with four shots each.
Vianey Garcia followed them with three shots in the contest.
Taylor Beede,
Natalie Morrow, and
Madison Fleury also made an impact with two shots each.
Alicia Gonzalez and
Lindsay Dowty split time in goal to represent the Fightin' Engineers.
Rose-Hulman out-shot the Mountaineers 18-0 in the match, not allowing a single shot on goal in the contest. The team also got themselves into a better position to score with five corner kicks compared to the Berea Mountaineers' zero.
Rose-Hulman women's soccer will continue their conference schedule, hosting Hanover on Saturday, October 3, at 1 PM on Homecoming Weekend.
