* Finished his career as only the third player in school history to score 1,400 points and grab 700 rebounds

* Led a turn-around of the basketball program, from a 7-19 record in his freshman season to a 17-9 mark as a senior
* Named the team's Most Valuable Player in 1986, '87 and '88
