 * Holds school records in the triple jump (49'4" outdoors, 48'5" indoor) and the long jump (23'5 1/2" outdoors,  23'5" indoor)
 * Two-time track team MVP, 1977 and 1978
 * Competed in decathlon at 1980 and '84 Olympic Trials
