TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology looks to extend its five-game winning streak as Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play resumes with Saturday's trip to Bluffton University at 3 p.m.

The Fightin' Engineers stand 6-4 overall and 2-1 in HCAC play after winning their last five games of the 2014 calendar year.  Rose-Hulman earned league wins over Transylvania and Manchester, along with non-conference victories over Millikin, Blackburn and Illinois Tech, on the five-game streak.

Senior Corey Povaleri continues to lead Rose-Hulman in scroing at 11.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.  Junior Tyler Duffy has a 10.7 scoring average, with junior Matt Loesing (9.9 ppg), junior Jimmy Miller (8.9 ppg) and sophomore Wade Stallings (4.3 ppg) rounding out the starting lineup.  Sophomore Collin Wojcik paces the reserves with an average of 8.1 points per contest.

Bluffton also has a 6-4 record and a 2-1 mark after winning its Holiday Tournament on Monday and Tuesday.  The Beavers defeated Ohio State-Lima and Hiram to enter Saturday's matchup on a two-game winning streak.  Junior Thayne Recker leads Bluffton in scoring at 20.8 points per game, with a balanced scoring attack featuring three starters between seven and nine points per contest.

After Saturday's game, Rose-Hulman returns to action with a conference matchup at Earlham College on Wednesday Jan. 7.  That contest will serve as the John Mutchner Cup for the 2014-15 season, with the winning team reclaiming a trophy named in honor of the Rose-Hulman coach/athletic director and the Earlham student-athlete inducted into the Hall of Fame at both institutions.
