TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology renews an in-state men's basketball rivalry with Hanover College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Hulbert Arena.

Rose-Hulman and Hanover will meet for the 10th time since the start of the 2011-12 season on Wednesday.  The Fightin' Engineers won the 2013 and 2014 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament championship games with wins over Hanover that officially punched its ticket to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Rose-Hulman stands 9-6 overall and 5-3 in HCAC action after falling 58-56 to conference leader Mount St. Joseph on a missed shot at the buzzer on Saturday.  Senior Corey Povaleri leads the team at 11.5 points per game, and junior Matt Loesing is also in double figures at 10.6 points per game.

Junior Tyler Duffy contributes 9.7 points per game to the offense, with junior Jimmy Miller adding 9.2.  Sophomore Wade Stallings rounds out the starting lineup at 4.4 points per game, and sophomore Collin Wojcik averages 8.9 after scoring 17.0 points per contest last week.

Hanover has an 8-7 overall record and is tied with Rose-Hulman at 5-3 in league play after dropping two straight games.  The Panthers fell 74-73 at Manchester on Saturday, after dropping a 64-48 decision to Mount St. Joseph on Jan. 14.

Sophomore VJ Phillips leads the Panthers in scoring at 10.9 points per game.  Freshman Wes McKinney adds 10.4, with senior Kyle James contributing 10.0 points per contest.

After Wednesday's game, Rose-Hulman returns to action with a Saturday afternoon matchup at Transylvania University.
