TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology returns to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball action with a trip to in-state foe Anderson University on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
The Fightin' Engineers stand 10-7 overall and 6-4 in HCAC play, while Anderson has a mark of 8-9 and 7-3 in league action. Mount St. Joseph leads the conference standings at 8-2, with Defiance and Anderson tied for second place at 7-3.
Senior Corey Povaleri continues to lead Rose-Hulman in scoring at 10.6 points per game. Junior Matt Loesing scores 10.2, while junior Jimmy Miller is also in double figures at 10.0. Junior Tyler Duffy (9.5 ppg) and sophomore Wade Stallings (4.8 ppg) are also in the usual starting lineup.
Sophomore Collin Wojcik comes off the bench with 9.3 points per game. Senior Michael Hallstein and juniors Dillon Reynolds and Mitch Williams have also appeared in more than 15 games to provide depth.
Anderson's top three scorers average in double figures and are all seniors. Max Mollaun leads the squad at 17.7 points per game, with Justin Jordan (15.2 ppg) and Nathan Gross (12.5 ppg) pacing the squad. The Ravens average 78.9 points per game and have scored 84 or more points in each of their last five victories.
After Wednesday's game, Rose-Hulman returns to action on Saturday at 3 p.m. with a trip to Defiance College.
