TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology returns home for an in-state matchup with Earlham College on Wednesday night at Hulbert Arena.
The Fightin' Engineers (10-9, 6-6 HCAC) start a key stretch of the season that features five of their last six games at home at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rose-Hulman currently stands fifth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings, one game above seventh place Bluffton. The top six teams will qualify for the HCAC Tournament later this month.
Senior Corey Povaleri continues to lead the Rose-Hulman offense in scoring at 10.4 points per game. Junior Jimmy Miller and junior Matt Loesing provide balance with 9.9 points per game each.
The starting lineup also features junior Tyler Duffy (8.9 ppg) and sophomore Wade Stallings (5.8 ppg). Sophomore Collin Wojcik leads the reserves in scoring at 9.1 points per game, and senior Michael Hallstein sscored a season-high 12 points in Saturday's loss at Defiance.
Earlham (0-19, 0-12 HCAC) seeks its first victory of the season after falling at Mount St. Joseph on Saturday. Elijah Wilson-Thomas is the leading scorer for the Quakers at 12.8 points per game. Taylen Alexander contributes 11.6 points per game to the Earlham offense.
