Men's Basketball Travels to Anderson on Wednesday at 7:30 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology looks to begin a new winning streak, when the Fightin' Engineers travel to Heartland Conference in-state rival Anderson on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

ROSE-HULMAN NEWS & NOTES (8-7, 6-2 HCAC):
* Rose-Hulman had a seven-game winning streak snapped in Saturday's narrow 73-70 loss to Bluffton.
* The seven-game winning streak tied the longest winning streak in the Rusty Loyd head coaching era, improving the Fightin' Engineers to second in HCAC play.
* The Fightin' Engineers have increased their scoring average to 75.4 points per game in conference play and are shooting 52% from the field in HCAC contests.
* Craig McGee leads the Fightin' Engineers in scoring (13.6 points per game), rebounds (75), assists (76) and steals (19).  McGee leads the HCAC in assists at 5.1 per game. 
* Rose-Hulman has a balanced scoring attack featuring four players in double figures:  McGee (13.6), Ryuji Aoki (11.8 ppg), Charlie Aimone (11.4 ppg) and Luke Callahan (10.6 ppg).
* Aoki currently leads all of NCAA Division III in free throw accuracy, burying 95.6% of his attempts (43-45).
* Wednesday's games around the HCAC will complete the first half of the league's double round-robin schedule.
* After the Anderson game, Rose-Hulman travels to Defiance on Saturday at 3 p.m.

ANDERSON NEWS & NOTES (9-6, 4-4 HCAC):
* Anderson had a five-game winning streak snapped with Wednesday's narrow 81-74 loss to preseason conference favorite Hanover.
* Anderson has league wins over Earlham, Defiance, Bluffton and Manchester.
* Trevor Lucas is the leading scorer in the HCAC at 21.9 points per game.
* The Anderson offense includes Cole Hartman (15.5 ppg) and Stanley Duncan (15.1 ppg) both averaging double figures.

SERIES HISTORY
* Rose-Hulman leads Anderson 37-23 ovearll and 12-10 in HCAC play.  The two teams split a pair of matches last year, with Rose-Hulman winning the second matchup.
