Men's Basketball Travels to Franklin for Key Wednesday HCAC Matchup

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Rose-Hulman men's basketball team looks to continue its winning ways with a trip to Franklin College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Rose-Hulman (14-7, 12-2 HCAC) News & Notes

* Rose-Hulman has won 13 of its last 14 games to move into a one-game lead in the HCAC standings.
Craig McGee is the reigning HCAC Player of the Week after averaging 20.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game in two overtime wins last week.
* McGee leads the team in scoring (14.2 ppg), rebounds (111), assists (113) & steals (28).
* Rose-Hulman has four players averaging in double figures for a balanced scoring attack.  Craig McGee leads the team at 14.2 points per game, followed by Charlie Aimone (11.7), Ryuji Aoki (11.5) and Luke Callahan (10.6).  
* Ryuji Aoki ranks among the national leaders in free-throw accuracy at 95.9% entering this week's play.
* Head coach Rusty Loyd has a 60-41 career record in his 4th season at Rose-Hulman.

Franklin (7-14, 6-8 HCAC) News & Notes

* Franklin has recovered from a slow start with three wins in its last five games to move into a tie for sixth place in the HCAC standings.
* Currently, Franklin is tied with Anderson for the sixth and final HCAC Tournament position.  Franklin has the tiebreaker over Anderson, by virtue of two-point and four-point wins in the series.
* John Beineke leads the Grizzlies in scoring (15.7 ppg) and rebounding (6.8 rpg) so far this season.
* Legendary head coach Kerry Prather has a career record of 498-429 in his 35th year at Franklin.

Series History

* Franklin leads Rose-Hulman 42-34 overall, but the Fightin' Engineers lead 16-7 in HCAC play.
* Rose-Hulman has won 13 straight games in the series, including a 69-66 victory at Hulbert Arena on Dec. 10.
