Men's Basketball Hosts Wabash TONIGHT at 7:30 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will host Wabash College on Tuesday night at 7:30 pm.  The game was moved to Tuesday due to snow in the Wabash Valley.

Rose-Hulman (3-6, 1-2 HCAC) News & Notes:

  • Rose-Hulman junior Craig McGee recorded the first triple-double in the 113-year Fightin' Engineer men's basketball history against Defiance.  McGee scored 16 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the 83-73 loss.
  • Craig McGee leads the Fightin' Engineers in scoring (16.7 ppg), rebounds (8.7 rpg) and assists (6.8 apg).  He has career totals of 822 points, 340 rebounds and 327 assists at Rose-Hulman.  The junior already ranks No. 5 in Rose-Hulman history in career assists with 331.
  • Rose-Hulman relied on a balanced offense to win at Bluffton on Saturday.  McGee had 22 points, Michael Lake added a career-high 16 points and Terry Hicks scored 13 points to lead five Engineers in double figures.
  • Zach Callahan scored a career-high 23 points in an 84-83 win over Aurora, including the final points on two free throws with five seconds left.  Trey Wurtz has also crossed the 20-point mark in a game this season, in the opening day win over Oakland City.
  • Head coach Rusty Loyd enters contest with a career record of 83-59.  Loyd has led Rose-Hulman to one regular season confrence title and two appearances in the HCAC Tournament Championship Game.
  • Wabash leads Rose-Hulman 73-43 in the all-time series, including a tight 77-74 win last season.  Rose-Hulman won the last meeting at Hulbert Arena in 2017.

Wabash (6-3, 2-1 HCAC) News & Notes:

  • Wabash is 6-3 overall and 2-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference play after winning against Denison on Saturday.
  • Jack Davidson earned preseason All-America recognition from D3News and leads the team in scoring at 20.6 points per game.
  • Other double-figure scorers for Wabash include Tyler Watson (13.4 ppg), Kellen Schreiber (13.3) and Harrison Hallstrom (12.8).
