RHIT to Host HCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will host the 2020 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at the Sports and Recreation Center.

ADMISSION: $8 adults - $5 for non-HCAC students - FREE HCAC Students, Faculty and Staff (with valid ID)

Rose-Hulman News & Notes:

* The Rose-Hulman men are ranked No. 10 in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region ranking entering the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
* Mary-Helen Shomba and Nathan Schrader have been named HCAC Women's Track and Men's Field Athlete of the Week twice this season.
* Also on the women's side, Christina Rogers has been named HCAC Track Athlete of the Week in 2020. 
* Rose-Hulman swept the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Team Championships in 2019.
* Rose-Hulman enters the 2020 indoor track and field season with 21 consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference team championships.  The men have won 12 consecutive HCAC outdoor championships and 9 straight HCAC indoor titles.
* The women's program has won four HCAC Championships: 2019 (Indoor), 2018 (Outdoor), 2018 (Indoor) and 2011 (Indoor).
* Rose-Hulman currently holds seven men's and six women's HCAC records heading into the 2020 Indoor meet.
* This is the 10th anniversary of the HCAC Indoor Championships.  Rose-Hulman has won all nine previous men's team titles and has won three women's championships in indoor action.
