SENIOR DAY PROGRAM vs. DEFIANCE  (print at home; copies will not be available at the game)

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology softball team hosts Defiance in the Senior Day home doubleheader on Sunday at 1 pm.

Only limited and invited family members or specifically invited Rose-Hulman community members can attend home outdoor events in 2020-21.  If you have not been directly contacted by a member of the team, you will be refused entry into the game.  Guests must fill out the campus visitor Travel & Symptoms Form 24 hours before attending an event.  NO visiting fans will be permitted and NO members of the general public will be permitted.

SENIOR DAY BIOS:
* Rose-Hulman will celebrate the careers of two Fightin' Engineer seniors prior to Sunday's doubleheader against Defiance.
* Emily Struble is a 3-year team member with career totals of 38 hits, 11 doubles, 1 home run, 25 runs scored and 16 RBIs.  She also has 7 career pitching wins and 116 strikeouts in 181 innings of work.  The chemical engineering major plays multiple infield positions for the Engineers and is from Carrollton, Illinois.
* Jessica Thuer is a 4-year team member with career totals of 60 hits, 17 doubles and 2 home runs.  She has scored 26 runs and has 30 career RBIs.  The mechanical engineering major is from Cicero, Indiana and plays first base for the Fightin' Engineers.

ROSE-HULMAN (9-22, 3-9 HCAC) GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman starts a stretch of 6 games in 3 days (vs. Manchester Friday; at Anderson Saturday; vs. Defiance on Sunday) with Friday's twinbill.
* Mackenzie Hunt leads the team in batting average (.455) with 10 hits, 2 doubles and 1 home run.  Hunt is also 5-4 in the pitching circle with a 4.22 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 64.2 innings.
* Alyssa Pinkston (4.99 ERA), Emily Struble (5.31) and Ashley Pinkham (6.75) have added pitching depth in the circle.
* Nicole Lang (.324), Alexis Fortuna (.317) and Angela Boulboulle (.310) and Reagan Knabe (.298) have the next highest batting averages for the offense.
