TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology softball team will close the 2021 season with a doubleheader at Transylvania on Friday night.  The game times will be 7 and 9 pm on Friday May 7.

ROSE-HULMAN (9-25) GAME NOTES:
* Friday's road game at Transylvania represents the 2021 season finale for the Fightin' Engineer softball team.
* Mackenzie Hunt is hitting over .400 at .423 with 2 doubles and 1 home run.
* Starters batting over .300 include Nicole Lang (.324, 3 2B, 4 HR); Alexis Fortuna (.319, 2 2B); and Angela Boulboulle (.311, 5 2B, 1 HR)
* Reagan Knabe (.299, 3 2B, 1 HR); Jessica Thuer (.289, 7 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR); and Jacky Neuman (.254, 3 2B, 1 3B) have provided lineup depth.
* Ashley Pinkham has 22 hits and 12 RBIs, and also has 20 pitching strikeouts in 46.2 innings.
* Hunt leads the team in ERA (4.75), strikeouts (76) and innings pitched (66.1).
* Alyssa Pinkston (5.10 ERA) and Emily Struble (6.49 ERA) have also provided pitching depth.
