EASTERN ILLINOIS RESULTS

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team opened the 2023 outdoor season with a pair of meets at Hanover and Eastern Illinois. The Fightin' Engineers placed 4th at Hanover and had several men compete in the Big Blue Classic at EIU.

James Kaunas and Logan McLaughlin led the Fightin' Engineers at the Hanover Invitational with a pair of first-place finishes. Kaunas won the Triple Jump while also scoring in the Long Jump with a third-place finish. McLaughlin won the pole vault and added a third-place finish in the 400m hurdles.

At Eastern Illinois, Trevor Maynard and Carter Lindfelt led the way with top-3 finishes in the 3000m steeplechase. Maynard finished second and Lindfelt finished third in the event. Kyle Brownell also added a top-10 finish in the High Jump.
