TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers men's and women's track & field teams will compete in the Pacesetter Invitational on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, hosted by Indiana State. The team will travel select individuals to the Oliver Nikloff Invitational to compete on Saturday, April 4.
ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S TRACK & FIELD NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineer earned a first-place finish at the Fightin' Engineers Spring Classic.
* The team finished the meet with 10 event wins and 25 top-three finishes.

William Fleck had a standout performance with a win in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.46, which is the top time in the conference this season in the event.
*
Antoine Cooper led the throws team with a win in the discus (48.24 meters, 158' 3") and a third-place finish in the shot put (14.26 meters, 46' 9.5").
* Cooper's mark in the discus currently leads all competitors in the HCAC so far this season.
*
Bryce Chen was the top jumper at the meet, earning an event win in the triple jump with a mark of 12.15 meters (41' 10").
*
Rhys Phelps led the distance team, competing at the North Central Distance Fling.
* Phelps earned a first-place finish in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 31:40.29, which leads the HCAC in the event so far this year.
* The Fightin' Engineer were voted to repeat as HCAC outdoor champions in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 79 points and six first-place votes.
* The Fightin' Engineers concluded the indoor season as 2026 HCAC Champions.
* Rose-Hulman recorded six first-place finishes and 20 top-three finishes in the indoor championships.
* Head Coach
Shane Mills was named the HCAC Indoor Coach of the Year, and Derrick Lawrence earned HCAC Indoor Assistant Coach of the Year.

Andrew Shields won HCAC Indoor Sprint Athlete of the Year, and
Xaiden Jenson won HCAC Indoor Co-Newcomer of the Year.
* After competing in the Pacesetter Invite, Rose will travel to compete in the Indiana DIII Championships hosted by DePauw on Saturday, April 11. The team will also travel individuals to compete in the Fast Break Athletics Invite hosted by Lee University on Friday, April 10.
ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD NOTES:
* The Rose-Hulman women's track & field team picked up a first-place finish at the Fightin' Engineers Spring Classic.
* The team earned nine event wins and 22 top-three finishes in the meet.

Jocelyn Onstot earned HCAC Distance Athlete of the Week for her performance at the WashU Distance Carnival and the Fightin' Engineers Spring Classic.
* Onstot broke the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the WashU Distance Carnival with a time of 11:05.58.
* She then picked up an event win in the 800-meter run at the Spring Classic with a time of 2:21.76.
* Her time in the steeplechase leads the conference and ranks sixth in the nation across all of NCAA DIII, and her 800 time leads the HCAC and ranks third in the HCAC record books.

Rose Talbert earned two event wins in the 200-meter dash (25.38) and the 400-meter dash (57.26).
* Talbert's 200 time ranks second in the conference and 34th in all of NCAA DIII, and her 400 time ranks 21st in all of NCAA DIII.

Audrey Edwards was the top jumper for Rose with an event win in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.58 meters (5' 2.25"), which leads the HCAC this season in the event.
* Rose-Hulman women's track & field has been selected to repeat as HCAC outdoor champions in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 79 points and seven first-place votes.
* Rose-Hulman ended the indoor season as the 2026 HCAC Champions.
* The Fightin' Engineers earned eight first-place finishes and 13 top-three finishes in the meet.
