Softball Hosts Manchester for Saturday Doubleheader

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology softball team continues their 2023 season with an HCAC doubleheader on their home field on Saturday. The Fightin' Engineers host Manchester at 1 PM and 3 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes into this weekend with a 6-10 record following an 0-4 weekend.
* The Fightin' Engineers fell to both Spalding and Defiance over the weekend.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season with a 15-player roster under the direction of 21st-year head coach Brian Shearer.
* The Fightin' Engineers finished last season at 18-14 with their first winning season since 2015. 
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish 7th in the HCAC this season, in a preseason poll of league coaches released in February.
* After hosting Manchester, the Fightin' Engineers have a busy eight game week with road games (Tuesday at Hanover and Sunday at Fontbonne) and home games (Friday vs Webster and Saturday vs Mount St. Joseph).
