EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross country team brought home a 13th place finish in the Angel Mounds Invitational on Saturday afternoon in a field with nine Division I programs. The Fightin' Engineers did beat one Division I program in the Austin Peay Governors by eight points.
Daniel Gaull led the Fightin' Engineers with a time of 27:01.3 and finishing in 122nd place.
Zachary Lyon,
Hammond Law, and
Tim Abbott also added times under 27:30 to finish in the top-140. Both Abbott and Lyon recorded personal bests in their sub-27:30 performances.
The Fightin' Engineers added eight total personal bests in the meet. Along with Abbott and Lyon, the other personal bests included

Jack Fuhrmann (30:08.6),
Will Geoghegan (28:49.9),
Kiernan Hickey (29:21.3),
Hank Slater (28:13.6), and
David Welsh McGrogan (28:46.9).
The team returns to action tomorrow as the top-12 runners will travel to Augustana for the Interregional Invitational at 11:45 AM CT.
