TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has named Gabrielle Gibson-Paul as the new assistant women's basketball coach for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Gibson-Paul has been a volunteer assistant for the Fightin' Engineers since her husband Devrinn Paul was named the head coach during the 2023-24 season. She worked with the players to implement personalized training programs to enhance player development. Gibson-Paul was a Player Development Specialist for G3G Athletics coaching 16 and up girls basketball while helping student-athletes develop their skills.
The Fightin' Engineers finished last season with a 12-14 record overall and a 9-9 record against HCAC teams. The team advanced to the HCAC Tournament falling to Franklin in the first round with a final score of 73-69. The team returns eight players from last year's squad including HCAC Newcomer of the Year

Gibson-Paul graduated from Assumption University with a Bachelor of Arts and Human Services and Rehabilitation degree in 2013. She was a key member of the Assumption women's basketball team being inducted into the athletic hall of fame in 2023. She currently ranks second in program history with 1,627 points scored.
