TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers star punter
Andrew Toler has been named AP 2nd-Team All-American for his efforts this season, released by the Associated Press on Thursday afternoon.
Toler now totals two All-American awards for the 2024 season after being named 1st-Team All-American by the AFCA. The Fightin' Engineers standout brings his career total to four All-American honors after receiving 1st-Team All-American by D3football.com and 2nd-Team All-American by the Associated Press during the 2023 season. With the D3football.com All-American awards to be announced in the coming weeks, Toler has a chance to become the first consensus All-American in Rose-Hulman history.
The Bidwell, Ohio native is just the 10th athlete in school history to be a 4-time All-American, joining

Matt Smith (SWIM),
Andrew Schipper (TRACK),
Phil Reksel (TRACK),

Toler had an outstanding season for Rose-Hulman breaking the school record for yards per punt in both career and single-season categories.
He led the conference and all of NCAA Division III averaging 47.846 yards per punt to break the single-season record. He finished his career claiming the school record for career yards per punt with 41.394. The career record for yards for punt stood for 46 years previously held by Bob Burwell in 1978.
Toler received multiple accolades from the conference this season being named 1st-Team All-HCAC and the HCAC Special Teams Player of the Year.
Toler earns just the seventh All-American award from the Associated Press in Rose-Hulman football history. This is the 123rd All-American award in the history of Rose-Hulman Athletics and the 30th all-time for Rose-Hulman football.
