The Fightin' Engineers will open the season with ten games at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Melbourne, Florida from February 26 to March 1 where they will take on Grove City, Houghton, Eastern, and Alma.
Rose-Hulman will open their 2024 home slate on March 9 as they host the Greenville Panthers for a doubleheader. The Fightin' Engineers will host two more non-conference doubleheaders during the season including Fontbonne on March 16 and Spalding on April 4.
The Fightin' Engineers will also hit the road for three more non-conference doubleheaders including Webster on March 23, Eureka on March 24, and Blackburn on April 11.
Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play kicks off on Saturday, March 30 as Rose-Hulman travels to Defiance for a doubleheader at 1 PM and 3 PM. The Fightin' Engineers will play four more HCAC road doubleheaders this season including Manchester (April 6), Earlham (April 9), Bluffton (April 20), and Mount St. Joseph (April 27). The Earlham Quakers will be playing their first softball season in over 30 years with their last season coming in 1993, thus the meeting between the Quakers and the Fightin' Engineers will be the first in school history.
Rose-Hulman will also host four HCAC doubleheaders with Anderson (April 13), Franklin (April 24), Hanover (May 1), and Transylvania (May 4) all coming to Terre Haute this season.
The top six teams in the HCAC will qualify for the HCAC Tournament from May 9-12 which will be played on the campus of the HCAC Regular Season champions.
The Fightin' Engineers will play two teams that made the 2023 NCAA Division III Tournament. Spalding University and Transylvania University were both sent to the Wisconsin-Whitewater Regional. Spalding with 0-2 in the tournament, and the Pioneers went 1-2 with their lone win coming over Spalding.
