GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology junior
Vineet Ranade opened his 2024 National Championships with a 24th place finish the 200 IM on Wednesday morning at 11:32 AM. He will compete in heat #5.
Ranade came in as the #18 seed in the event and missed out on making the finals with a time of 1:50.22 which led to a 24th place finish.
He will return to the pool on Thursday morning for the preliminary races in the 200m Freestyle where he comes in as the #8 overall seed with a time of 1:37.63.
He will also finish his week on Saturday with the 200m Breaststroke event.
Ranade is looking to add to a Rose-Hulman swimming tradition that includes 15 All-American awards, four top-5 national finishes, and one national championship performance.
