Rose-Hulman Men's Basketball Releases 2024-25 Schedule

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- We are now closing in on four months away from the 2024-25 Rose-Hulman men's basketball season which means it is time to break down the schedule. The full schedule can be seen HERE.

The Fightin' Engineers will open their season by batting former head coach Rusty Loyd and the DePauw Tigers for the third consecutive year. Rose-Hulman will look to pick up the win in Greencastle in a series that has been going since 1905.

Rose-Hulman will play four more non-conference games away from home including a tournament at Hope College. They travel to WashU on November 15 and Millikin on December 11 before playing a pair of MIAA teams, Hope and Olivet, on December 20 and 21.

The Fightin' Engineers will only host two non-conference games this season with both coming in a three game span. They will play host to the Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Tech on November 23 and the Little Giants of Wabash College on November 25 for their home non-conference action.

Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play tips off on December 4 at Manchester. Rose-Hulman will also travel to Bluffton and Earlham as well as host Anderson prior to the Christmas break. The game at Earlham on December 17 with be the annual John Mutchner Cup game.

After the Christmas break, the Fightin' Engineers will play eight more home games including Mount St. Joseph (January 8), Transylvania (January 11), Franklin (January 18), Manchester (January 22), Berea (February 1), Hanover (February 5), Bluffton (February 15), and Earlham (February 19).

Rose-Hulman will also play seven more road games including Berea (January 4), Hanover (January 15), Transylvania (January 25), Franklin (January 29), Anderson (February 8), and Mount St. Joseph (February 12).

The Fightin' Engineers will play four teams that made the 2023 NCAA DIII Tournament. Hope and Anderson battled in out in the opening round of the tournament with the Flying Dutchmen coming out on top before falling to Case Western in the second round. Wabash joined Anderson with an opening round loss to Coe. WashU advanced to the Sweet 16 with a pair of one possession wins over Wisconsin Lutheran and Illinois College, but the Bears fell to the eventual national champions, Trine.

Rose-Hulman will also play three teams that they have not played in over 20 years. The Fightin' Engineers battle Olivet for the time since 2001, Hope for the first time since 1985, and Berea for the first time since 1970.
