FINAL RESULTS
SHELBYVILLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross country team placed second in the Pre-Regional race at Franklin College on Saturday morning.
Freshman
Sam Rinker brought home the top finish for the Fightin' Engineers in 4th place with a time of 25:31.28.
Carter Lindfelt and
Joshua Pohle each finished in the top-15 for Rose-Hulman with times of 26:00 and 26:04.Â
Thomas Tullius and
Chris Lynn rounded out the scoring for the Fightin' Engineers with top-40 finishes.
Rose-Hulman brought home the second-place finish over a plethora of top-10 teams in the region including #5 Case Western Reserve, #6 Ohio Northern, and #9 Manchester. Trine was able to win the meet with a score ofÂ
The Fightin' Engineers will return to action on Saturday, September 21 as they compete in Indiana State's John McNichols Invitational at the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course.
