TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior punter, Andrew Toler, earns his third All-American award from the season with a 1st-Team All-American selection by D3football.com, released on Thursday morning.

With Toler's third All-American award of the 2024 season, he becomes the first consensus All-American in school history after earning 1st-Team honors from the American Football Coaches Association and 2nd-Team honors from the Associated Press.

The Rose-Hulman football standout now stands at five All-American awards in his illustrious career. He is just the sixth athlete in school history to be a 5-time All-American, joining Jailen Hobbs (FB/TRACK), Ellie Hong (SWIM), Liz Evans (TRACK), Sutton Coleman (TRACK), and Andrew Schipper (TRACK).

The Bidwell, Ohio native is also just the third student-athlete in Rose-Hulman history to earn three All-American honors in a single calendar year, joining Sutton Coleman (2011 and 2012) and Jailen Hobbs (2023).

Toler had an outstanding season for Rose-Hulman breaking the school record for yards per punt in both career and single-season categories.

He led the conference and all of NCAA Division III averaging 47.846 yards per punt to break the single-season record. He finished his career claiming the school record for career yards per punt with 41.394. The career record for yards for punt stood for 46 years previously held by Bob Burwell in 1978.

Toler earns the seventh All-American award from the D3football.com in the last five years with the 124th All-American award in the history of Rose-Hulman Athletics and the 31st all-time for Rose-Hulman football. He was also the lone player from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference to earn a spot on the All-American team.
