CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers will return to Wabash for the second consecutive week, as they take on the Little Giants. The meet will be held on Friday, October 24, at 7 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers are coming off a third-place finish at the Indiana DIII Championships.
* Junior
Parker Siddons had a phenomenal day as he won the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.
* Siddons recorded a score of 198.85 in 1-meter diving.
* He added a score of 190.40 in 3-meter diving.
* Sophomore
Trevor Wiley recorded first place in the 200m Butterfly with a time of 1:56.82.
* Wiley added a second-place finish in the 200m individual medley with a time of 1:59.19.
* Senior
Carter Kirtz achieved second place in the 100 and 200-meter breaststroke.
* Kirtz recorded times of 1:00.36 (100m) and 2:11.92 (200m).
* Sophomore
Andrew Geiger came in third place in 1-meter diving with a score of 163.45.
* Junior
Eric Sinclair added a third-place finish in the 100m breaststroke, completing the race in 1:00.77.
* Wiley, Kirtz, sophomore
Travis Zinzer, and junior
Walter Kotlin placed third overall in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:39.54.
WABASH NOTES:
* The Little Giants recorded a second-place finish at the Indiana DIII Championships.
* Sophomore Ryan West recorded first-place finishes in the 100m backstroke (53.24) and 200m backstroke (1:56.63).
* Freshman Lew Sams achieved first-place finishes in the 100m breaststroke (59.03) and 200m breaststroke (2:10.69).
* Junior Quinn Sweeney placed first in the 100m butterfly (52.83) and 100m freestyle (48.47).
* Sophomore Mason Gilliam won the 500 freestyle (4:52.01) and 1000 freestyle (10:02.25).
