TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Rose-Hulman men's and women's swimming and diving will travel to compete in the Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiates this weekend on Saturday, October 11, at 12 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers suffered a loss in their season opener against DePauw with a final score of 175.5 to 81.5.
* The team totaled two event wins and 16 top-three finishes in the meet.

Parker Siddons led the team, claiming two first-place finishes in the diving competitions.
* Rose-Hulman comes off a successful 2024-25 season.
* The team concluded the season by winning their fifth consecutive HCAC Championship.
* The Fightin' Engineers had multiple record-breaking performances in last year's conference meet.

Parker Siddons was named HCAC Men's Diver of the Year.
* Siddons placed first overall in 1m Diving (366.10) and 3m Diving (352.90).

Eric Sinclair won the 100 Breaststroke with a school record-setting time of 55.37.

Trevor Wiley won the 400 Individual Medley with an HCAC record time of 3:58.44.
* Wiley and
Tommaso Calviello helped lead Rose-Hulman to a first-place finish in the 800 Freestyle Relay with an HCAC record time of 6:45.24.
* Calviello and
Aidan Carter achieved a first-place finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:04.62.

Carter Kirtz recorded first-place finishes in two relay events.
* Kirtz achieved a school-record setting time of 3:23.10 in the 400 Medley Relay and a 1:32.69 time in the 200 Medley Relay.
* After the Dan Ross Intercollegiates, the Fightin' Engineers will look ahead to compete in the Indiana DIII Championships on Saturday, October 18, at 9:30 AM.
ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 0-1 in dual meets after falling to DePauw in their season opener with a score of 190-54.
* The team finished with two event wins and five first-place finishes.

Ellie Castleman led the team with two event wins in the diving competitions.
* Rose-Hulman is coming off a third place finish at last season's HCAC Championships.

Catherine Bath recorded two first-place finishes.
* Bath won the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:10.09 and the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 17:59.20.
* Bath also recorded a second-place finish in the 200 Freestyle, completing the race in 1:57.45.

Avery Witt was named HCAC Newcomer of the Year.
* Witt, Bath, and
Ritu Bharamaraddi achieved three relay first-place finishes.
* The team posted a school record-setting time of 7:55.42 in the 800 Freestyle Relay.
* They added victories in the 400 Medley Relay (4:03.15) and 200 Medley Relay (1:50.88).
* Witt recorded a second-place finish in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 59.84.
* Bharamaraddi placed second in the 200 Backstroke, completing the race in 2:10.37.
* After the Dan Ross Intercollegiates, the Fightin' Engineers will look ahead to compete in the Indiana DIII Championships on Saturday, October 18, at 9:30 AM.
