CARMEL, Ind. -- The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced its weekly award winners for the sport of men's track & field. Rose-Hulman landed two award winners in this week's release, with

Clark and Kaunas helped lead the Fightin' Engineers to a first-place finish in their season opener at the Fightin' Engineers Invitational on Saturday.
Clark earned an event win in the mile run with a time of 4:35.18. The junior mechanical engineering major now holds the fastest time in the event across the entire conference so far this season.
Kaunas had an exceptional performance to lead the jumps team. The senior computer science major landed two event wins in the triple jump (12.45 meters, 40' 10.25") and the long jump (6.14 meters, 20' 1.75"). These marks are also the best in their individual events across the entire conference so far this season.
This is the third HCAC Athlete of the Week for Kaunas and the first for Clark in their college careers with the Fightin' Engineers.
The men's track & field team will return to action this Friday, December 12, at the John Gartland Invitational hosted by Indiana State.
