TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's swimming and diving team will compete in the HCAC Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at Vigo County Aquatic Center this week. Tickets will be available for purchase at the entrance of the Vigo County Aquatic Center. General admission is $10 per day, an All-Session Pass is $25, and children 11 and under are free.

ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING NOTES:

* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 3-5 overall this year in dual meets.
* The team has a record of 2-1 against conference teams after defeating Anderson 172.5-107.5 and Transylvania 157-134, and falling to Franklin 190.5-94.5.
* The Rose-Hulman women's team has been selected to finish second in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 33 points and two first-place votes.
* The team earned their third consecutive third-place finish at the HCAC Championships last season.
* Cate Stauffer and Catherine Bath are the key returners for the Fightin' Engineers after claiming a combined nine top-three finishes at the conference meet last year.
* Stauffer broke the school record in the 400 IM (4:34.36) and the 200 IM (2:08.83) during the conference championship.
* Bath broke multiple school records as well in the conference meet in the 1650 freestyle (17:47.56) and the 500 freestyle (5:07.29).
* After competing at the HCAC Championships, Rose-Hulman will have individuals compete in the Last Chance Meet on Saturday, February 22.
