TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman men's basketball senior
Miles McGowen has earned third-team All-Region honors from D3hoops.com for his exceptional season with the Fightin' Engineers.Â
McGowen becomes just the third player in Rose-Hulman men's basketball history to earn the All-Region nod from D3hoops.com joining Julian Strickland (first-team, 2012-13, 2013-14) and Craig McGee (second-team, 2019-20, 2020-21).Â
McGowen finished the season averaging just shy of a double-double with 12.1 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game in his senior campaign. He finished his career as the all-time leader in Rose-Hulman history in offensive rebounds with 279 and average offensive rebounds per game with 2.9.Â
The chemical engineering major also holds the school record for offensive rebounds in a single season with 90 during the 2022 season. He ends his career with three of the top four all-time single-season offensive rebound totals with 90 in 2022, 72 in 2023, and 87 in 2024.Â
The Indianapolis, Indiana native was also recognized by the conference, earning first-team All-HCAC this season. This is the third All-HCAC honor of his career.Â
The Fightin' Engineers finished their 2024-25 season with a record of 17-10 overall and 13-5 in the HCAC.Â
