BEREA, Ky. -- The Rose-Hulman men's track & field team earned their 28th HCAC Outdoor Championship in the last 31 years. The team earned the win with a final team score of 196.
The Fightin' Engineers finished the meet with two event wins and 15 top-three finishes.
Antoine Cooper was named the Most Outstanding Male Throws Athlete of the Year.
Cooper was an event champion with a mark of 167' 9.0" in the discus. His mark currently ranks third in the Rose-Hulman school record book.
Kolton Nanko earned the HCAC title in the pole vault after clearing a height of 15' 5.75".
The Rose-Hulman men's coaching staff led by Shane Mills received the HCAC Coaching Staff of the Year.
The men's track & field team will return to action, traveling select individuals to the Sycamore Open on Friday, May 9, at 12 PM.
