Women's Track and Field Garners Multiple USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose Talbert added to her decorated resume, as she was awarded USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors in women's track and field. Additionally, the women's track and field team received the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, as they boasted a 3.37 average GPA as a team.

Talbert secured multiple first-place finishes at the 2025 HCAC Track and Field Championships, which led to her being a First Team All-Conference selection. She posted a time of 25.32 in the 200m dash and followed that up by setting a school record in the 400m, crossing the finish line in 55.87.

In order to be eligible for All-Academic Athlete honors, Talbert recorded a cumulative GPA above 3.30, and she ranked among the top 50 individuals in the country in the 400-meter dash. She qualified for the NCAA Outdoor National Championships, where she finished seventh overall in the 400-meter dash finals. Talbert would once again set a school record with a time of 54.62, concluding her sophomore season as a First Team All-American.

The women's track & field team earned the All-Academic Team award after meeting the requirement of recording a 3.10 GPA or higher.
