LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Rose-Hulman men's golf team traveled to compete in the Transylvania Invitational this weekend to begin their 2025-26 season. The team earned a third-place finish with a team score of 875 (+11).
Owen King led the Fightin' Engineers with a tie for second place individually, shooting rounds of 73 (+1), 71 (-1), and 72 (E) for a final score of 216 (E).
Austin Frick was another standout with a tie for ninth place, shooting 74 (+2), 71 (-1), and 73 (+1) for a score of 218 (+2).
Ryan Beerheide rounded out the top three finishers for Rose-Hulman with a tie for 20th place, shooting 78 (+6), 70 (-2), and 75 (+3) for a total score of 223 (+7).
The men's golf team will return to action on the road at the Rhodes Fall Invitational on Sunday, September 21, and Monday, September 22.
