ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Rose-Hulman's duo of
Jocelyn Onstot and
Brianna Bittel competed in St. Louis, Mo., at the WashU Distance Carnival.
Jocelyn Onstot achieved a 13
th-place finish out of 54 of the top distance athletes in the 3000m steeplechase. Onstot set a school record with a time of 11:05.58, surpassing her previous RHIT record of 11:09.50, which she set last season.
Brianna Bittel recorded a 54
th-place finish in the 10,000m. She set a personal best with a time of 40:06.73, which ranks as the third fastest 10,000m in Rose-Hulman history.
Rose-Hulman will host their Senior Day Meet tomorrow at Cook Stadium. The Fightin' Engineers Spring Classic will begin on Saturday, March 28, at 11 AM.
